You don’t have to be Irish to join—our society welcomes golfers of all standards, no matter where you’re from. What brings us together is a shared love of golf and good company.
We host regular outings throughout the year, offering a great mix of competitive and social golf in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just looking to enjoy the game with like-minded people, we’d love to have you join us.

I am immensely proud to be the London GAA Golf Society Captain for 2025, an honour that I do not take lightly. It is certainly one of the highlights of my golfing life. I would like to thank Michael O’Hara for choosing me as his vice-captain and I enjoyed his very successful year. During my captaincy, my main goal is to ensure that myse
I am immensely proud to be the London GAA Golf Society Captain for 2025, an honour that I do not take lightly. It is certainly one of the highlights of my golfing life. I would like to thank Michael O’Hara for choosing me as his vice-captain and I enjoyed his very successful year. During my captaincy, my main goal is to ensure that myself and my vice-captain, James Cunningham do all we can to ensure the society has another enjoyable year.
The London GAA Golf Society is no ordinary golf society, the membership has been growing since it started in 1984 and we have had generations of fantastic members, who have made this society the great organisation that it is.
The society has had Captains from every county in Ireland and I am proud to be the first Cavan man to be Captain of this great society.
The London GAA Golfing Society has five outings this year being:
· Mill Hill Golf Club – 4th April
· Old Ford Manor Golf Club – 2nd May
· Aldenham Golf Course & Country Club – 6th June
· South Herts Golf Club Captain’s Day – 11th July
· Durham Park Golf Club – 5th September
Our annual tour to Turkey – 16th – 23rdMay.
I have chosen ‘Haven House Children’s Hospice’ as my nominated charity for this golfing year. A fantastic charity that cares for seriously ill babies and children (up to the age of 18) by creating a loving and warm environment for them and their families while they go through the toughest of times.
I look forward to seeing as many members and their guests as possible throughout this golfing year and thank them all for their support.
